Kristin M. Short

Kristin M. Short of Highland Mills passed away on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. She was 37 years old.
The daughter of Colleen M. Short-Gallegro and William J. Short, Kristin was born May 7, 1980, in Brooklyn.
Kristin was a toll collector for the N.Y.S. Thruway Authority in Harriman.
She will be greatly missed by her loving mother, Colleen Short-Gallegro, at home; her brother, Brian W. Short and his fiancée Janet Sliger of Las Vegas, Nevada; and her grandmother Mary Short.
Visitation was held Dec. 14, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home in Monroe.
A Funeral Service followed in the funeral home officiated by the Rev. Michael F. Keane.
Cremation will be held at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
