Kieran Boyce

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kieran Boyce of Chester and formerly of Glenties, Donegal, who passed away on May 2, 2025, in Manhattan, New York.

He was born Jan. 13, 1957.

Husband of Deirdre for more than 30 years and a loving father to Joe and T.K. Beloved son of Josie and Bridge Boyce. Sadly missed by his sisters Mary, Pauline and Gina; predeceased by his sisters Finola and Ann and his brother Aidan. He will be remembered by his extended family, friends, and all who knew him.

Kieran worked as a carpenter and was a retired member of the New York City Carpenters Union Local 608, 157. He trained as a boat builder, carpenter and welder in the boatyards of Killybegs.

Kieran enjoyed sports, including GAA, football and American football and he was a New York Yankees fan. He also had an interest in music and animals.

Visitation was held May 6 at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, 139 Stage Road, Monroe.

A Funeral Mass was held May 7 at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe.

The family entrusted Kieran’s care to the Flynn family and Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Center’s staff.

Cremation care will be provided under the direct supervision of Brendan and Thomas Flynn at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., Chester.

May his soul rest in peace.
