John R. Ferrara

John R. Ferrara of Wurtsboro died on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Orange Regional Medical Center, Wallkill. He was 61.

Son of the late Albert and Felicia Martone Ferrara, he was born on Jan. 16, 1951, in the Bronx.

John shared his love of the arts and music with his wife and children. He was an avid Beatles and Atlanta Braves fan and rarely missed a game.

Survivors include his wife, Patty O'Dell Ferrara, at home; two sons, Anthony Ferrara of Monroe and Nicholas Ferrara of Middletown; and daughter, Allie and husband, Brian O'Rourke, of Middletown; and his cat, Little Lucy.

Visitation was held June 26 at Smith, Seaman and Quackenbush Funeral Home in Monroe. Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, N.Y.
