John Andrew Adam of Goshen entered into rest on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 76.
John was born Sept. 23, 1946, in Weehawken, N.J., the son of Joseph Adam and Marie Kentos Adam.
John truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as spending time with his beloved wife Kathleen, his four children and nine grandchildren, traveling, making tik toks with his grandchildren, singing and partying every chance he could.
John was a diehard Jets fan and enjoyed contributing to the success of local casinos. J
ohn always brought a smile to everyone’s face with his love for life, laughter and happiness. John, affectionately known as Bubbles, was a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service in North Bergen, N.J.
He is survived by Kathleen, the love of his life and wife of 57 years, his four children Michael, Tracy and husband Daniel McClintock, Michelle and husband Scott Doody, Lisa, and his grandchildren: Brandon, Alex, Kaitlyn, Sean, Kristen, Meghan, Colin, Kieran, and Maeve.
Visitation was held July 13 at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen.
A Funeral Mass celebrating his life was held July 14 at St. John the Evangelist RC Church, 71 Murray Ave., Goshen.
Burial will be private with the family.
