Jerome 'Jerry' Taylor

Jerome "Jerry" Taylor of Warwick (formerly of Salisbury Mills), beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at the age of 72.
Jerry is survived by his wife Christine (nee Romer) at home; son Jason Taylor and wife Kate of Ridgewood, N.J.; daughter Ashley Vero and husband Christopher of Warwick; four grandchildren: Ellie, Penny, Ethan and Taylor; two sisters, Sandra Lombino of Central Islip and Susan Decker of Gansevoort; and his constant loyal companion, Bailey.
Jerry was born April 12, 1946, in New York City, the son of Jerome H. Fuchs and Eleanor M. DeRoo.
He graduated from the University of Miami.
Jerry was happily retired and worked previously as vice president of Marketing/Advertising of Jordache Enterprises.
He was an avid golfer and was very active in the Warwick Grove community. Jerry was formerly the chairman of the Warwick Grove Homeowners Association. He was the founder of the "Wrascals" Softball Team, the "Wackers" Golf Club and the "Sunshine Fundraisers" and a member of the "Helping Hands" group.
Visitation was held June 6 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick.
A funeral service was held at the funeral home on June 7. Burial followed in Warwick Cemetery.
