Jeremy V. “Jay” Milligan of Warwick (formerly of Haskell, N.J.) passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 12, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern. He was 51 years old.
Born in Pequannock, N.J., on July 23, 1971, he was the son of Frederick S. and Lois (DeFreese) Milligan.
Jay was a greenskeeper at Tuxedo Country Club in Tuxedo.
A family statement reads: “Jay loved music and played the bass. He was also a fan of dirt racing. Always a people person, he loved being around people, especially his family, and he was fun to be around. He will be deeply missed.”
Jay is survived by his daughter Natasha Milligan of Lebanon, Ohio; son D’Andre Gillian of Warwick; three sisters: Belinda DeGroat and Tuewana DeGroat both of Warwick, and Jacqueline Milligan of Vansant, Va.; and two grandchildren Hunter Wright and Shepherd Jeremy Wright.
