    It is with great sorrow that her family announces the passing of Jennifer Nicole Wenz on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018.
    Jennifer was valedictorian of the Monroe-Woodbury Graduating Class of 1998 and one of the top graduates at James Madison University-Class of 2001.
    Jennifer then went on to become a financial planner at People’s United Bank in Westchester County and Connecticut.
    She was 37 years old at the time of her death.
    The daughter of Dr. Lawrence Wenz, and the late Darlene Ann Wenz, Jennifer was born on Aug. 16, 198,0 in Manhasset at North Shore Hospital. Her entire childhood and adolescence was lived in the Harriman and Monroe area. Jennifer was a life-long resident or Orange County.
    Jennifer was a loving daughter, a devoted sister and an overjoyed, doting mother to her new baby daughter, Olivia Ann. She was an avid believer in the power of yoga to enhance people’s lives.
    She was also a humble and talented artist who used her talent to bring joy to herself and others.
    Jennifer will be remembered for her brilliant smile, infectious laugh and her generous heart. She possessed a beautiful soul, which she shared with those she loved, and those who loved her. She will never be forgotten.
    Jennifer is survived by her father, Dr. Lawrence Wenz of Monroe and step-mother Patricia Marini-Wenz; her sister Dr. Andrea Wenz of Boston, Mass., and step-sister, Cristine Torelli of Highland Mills; her daughter Olivia Ann Wenz of Monroe; as well as a large extended family and step-family.
    She was predeceased by her mother, Darlene Ann Wenz, grandfather and grandmother, Andrew Wenz and Susan Alice Wenz of Queens; her grandmother, Adella Riverburg, of Lenoxville, Pa; and her godfather and uncle Jack Tellep of Clifford, Pa.
    Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 2, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 3, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., 139 Stage Road, Monroe.
    A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, Feb. 3, at noon at St. Anastasia Parish Church, 21 North Main St., Harriman, with the Rev. Michael Keane officiating.
    Cremation will follow at Oxford Hills Crematory in Chester.
