Halina Y. Tsymbaliuk
Halina Y. Tsymbaliuk passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Keller Army Community Hospital in West Point.
Daughter of Sofia and Yaroslav Tsymbaliuk, she was born Jan. 4, 1962, in Bukachivtsi, Ukraine.
Halina was a teacher with Child Development Center in West Point.
Survivors include her mother Sofia Tsymbaliuk of Bukachivtsi, Ukraine; her companion Mark J. Weber of Monroe; her son Taras Matsiak of Bukachivtsi, Ukraine; her daughter Tatiana Matsyak of Monroe; her granddaughter Tetyana Matsyak of Bukachivtsi, Ukraine; and one brother and two sisters in the Ukraine.
Her familys statement reads: She came 15 years ago to this area and felt like Monroe was her home.
A grave side service was held April 11 at Cemetery of The Highlands in Highland Mills, with the Rev. Yaroslav Kostyk officiating.
