Frank M. Postiglione

Frank M. Postiglione of Cape May, N.J., and formerly of Monroe, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Pomona, N.J. He was 81 and had been a resident of Monroe for 35 years.
The son of Felix and Theresa Bartolomeo Postiglione, he was born Jan. 28, 1931, in the Bronx.
Frank was a retired master tool maker and worked as a plant foreman at Hudson Valley Tool Corp. in Newburgh. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean War.
He was a member of Cape May Golf Club and enjoyed his boat, No Name. He was a member of North Cape May Senior Club and his Thursday night poker group.
He and his wife Pat were parishioners of St. John of God Church in North Cape May where he was an usher at the 4 p.m. Mass.
He was a former longtime parishioner of St. Anastasia Church in Harriman.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia A. Hendrie Postiglione of Cape May; sons Charles of Chandler, Arizona, Peter and his wife Alison of Gilbert, Arizona, Chip and his wife Dawn of Washingtonville, Michael and his wife Judy of Rock Tavern; eight grandchildren: Danielle, Andrew, Kevin, Shayne, Joey, Tess, Hunter and Summer; his brother Patrick Postiglione of Lynbrook; nephew Tom Ganuncio and his wife Jennifer of Greenville; and several other nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Johanna T. Ganuncio.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, at St. Anastasia Parish Church, Route 17M in Harriman. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
