Elizabeth Muriel Schwar

Elizabeth Muriel Schwar of Goshen passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Orange Regional Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill. She was 93.

Daughter of Adolph and Lena Ehre Golderer, she was born Aug. 25, 1919, in New York City.

Elizabeth was the widow of Frederick Schwar.

She enjoyed her writing group at Glen Arden, writing poetry, shopping and working with flowers.

Survivors include her sons: Robert W. Schwar and his wife Joanne of Monroe and Frederick C. Schwar and his wife Michele of Ortonville, Mich.; her six grandchildren: Ronald, James, Kristy, Joseph, William and Stacey; and four great grandchildren: Montana, Zara, Sean and Katie.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her brother Franklin Golderer and her sister Eleanor Ferrara.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Nov. 15, at 10 a.m. at St. Anastasia Shrine Church, 21 North Main St., Harriman.

Interment will follow in Wallkill Rural Cemetery in Phillipsburg.
