    Darlene Ann Wenz of Monroe, a clerical worker at the Department of Social Services in Newburgh for the past 10 years and a former group salesperson for United Airlines for 18 years died April 19, 2013, at her residence. Darlene was 63 and had been a resident of the area for 35 years.

    The daughter of Adella Rivenburg, she was born in Cardondale, Pa.

    Darlene was a member of St. Anastasia R.C. Church in Harriman and the Monroe-Woodbury PTA.

    Darlene was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She was constantly thinking of others and will be remembered for the endless generosity, kindness and love that she showed to all who knew and loved her in return.

    Darlene is survived by her husband, Dr. Lawrence Wenz, at home and their children Jennifer Wenz of Monroe and Andrea Wenz of Boston, Mass.

    She was predeceased by her brother, John Tellep of Clifford, Pa.

    A funeral Mass will be offered April 25 at St. Anastasia R.C. Parish Church, 21 North Main St., Harriman, with the Rev. Michael Keane officiating.

    Cremation will follow at Oxford Hills Crematory, Inc., in Chester.

    Funeral and cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Thomas F. Flynn, director of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc., in Monroe.

    Memorial contributions in Darlene’s memory to the contributors favored cancer research centers.
