Daniel Lee Buchanan

Daniel Lee Buchanan of Dayton, Nevada, and formerly of Monroe, N.Y., passed away at St. Luke’s Elmore Hospital in Mountain Home, Idaho, on Saturday,June 2, 2018. He was 62.
The son of George A. Buchanan and Ruth A. Buckmaster Buchanan, he was born in Middletown, N.Y., on April 11, 1956.
Danny was an air show performer. He was a paraplegic and performed at air shows throughout the United States and the world as a hang glider (www.danbuchanairshows.com).
He is survived by his son, Michael W. Paige of Minden, Nevada; his brothers John R. Buchanan of Ellenville and Gary Buchanan of Monroe.
He was predeceased by his sister, Arlene D. Buchanan.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 15, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Wallkill Cemetery in Middletown.
