Alberta Hebner
Alberta Hebner of Middletown passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012, at St. Teresas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Middletown. She was 84 and had been a resident of the area for 51 years.
The daughter of Albert and Elmira (Masker) Cox, she was born Feb. 10, 1928, in Mahwah, N.J.
Alberta was the extraordinary wife of the late Arthur G. Hebner and the amazing mother to Frances Palmer (Lorenzo), Arthur Hebner, (Jenny), Catherine Fine (Kenny), Linda Braghirol (Robert), Charlotte Hebner, Harold Hebner, Nancy Reed (Gus), George Hebner (Lisa), and her predeceased daughter Doreen Cohn, grandmother of 20, great grandmother of 22 and great, great grandmother of four. She is also survived by her special niece, Barbara Steinhauer.
Albertas love of life and love for her family is one of the many qualities that will be held forever in our hearts.
The family wishes to thank St. Teresas for their care and kindness and to all who loved her with a special thanks to William whose dedication and compassion was extraordinary in her time of need.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe. Grave side services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, at Midvale Cemetery in Wanaque, N.J.
