With a heavy heart, we announce Agnes Seeley’s passing on April 29, 2025. She was 83 years old.
The daughter of Julius and Marie (Groeller) Radakovits, she was born in New York City on July 20, 1941.
Agnes, who lived in Monroe, was a bus driver for the Monroe-Woodbury School District in Central Valley. She was a proud member of Sacred Heart Church, where she served as an usher for the 5:30 p.m. Mass.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, John R. Seeley Jr. and his wife Justine of Monroe; Debi M. Elezovic and her husband Alex of Upper Saddle River, N.J.; grandchildren: Courtney, Brittany, Brandon, Reegan and Kierlyn; great-grandchildren: Declan, Kinsley, Colton and Finley; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Agnes was also predeceased by her beloved husband John R. Seeley Sr. and her brother Julius Radakovits.
Visitation was held May 8 at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated May 9, at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope.
