WARWICK - On March 11, Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton, Warwick Valley Chamber President Garrett Durland and Chamber Executive Director Michael Johndrow joined owners Lisa McSweeney and Lisa Muto for the official grand opening of Glamour Girl. The new consignment shop in Merchant Square at 28 Ronald Reagan Blvd. actually opened late last year but McSweeney and Muto decided to hold off the official opening until now. Glamour Girl is strictly for young ladies. The shop features a large variety of high-line girl’s clothing, sizes 3 to 16 with name brands including Corky & Co., Hanna Andersson, Mini Boden, Sister Sam, Lipstick and Abercrombie. Once you step inside, you’ll understand why young shoppers tell the owners that this is their favorite place to shop. There are whimsical decorations, an old fashion jukebox, unique hair accessories, jewelry, jewelry holders, toys and the latest trendy fashions attractively arranged. “All of our clothing is hand selected and in new or nearly new condition,” said Muto. “Consigning is a great way to earn some extra cash, while recycling your gently used clothing,” added McSweeney. “New consignors are always welcome and no appointment is needed. Stop in anytime.”
