Warwick - Eleanor and Bill Godaire of Warwick had the extraordinary pleasure to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 16, 2010. A reception was held at The Brownstone in Paterson, N.J., following a blessed renewal of vows, officiated by Pastor Chris Yount. The day was shared with their family and closest friends, especially by their daughters, Eileen Tatusch and her husband Jim and Lynn Wottring as well as Eleanor and Bill’s grandchildren - Krystina, Alexandra, William and Elyssa. About 100 family members and friends, including some who came as far as Michigan, were in attendance. Their guests also included the couple’s best man and maid of honor. The Godaires originally lived in Brooklyn and then moved to West Milford, N.J., Naples, Fla., and Norcross, Ga., before moving to Warwick 14 years ago. Bill Godaire is retired from AT&T in New York City. Today, Eleanor is a manager and Bill is a personal trainer at Body and Soul Total Fitness Gym in Warwick. Eleanor and Bill were married Oct. 16, 1960, in St. Catharine’s of Alexandria Church in Brooklyn. Their love story continues. The family thanks all who made this a very happy and special occasion.
