Elant kids celebrate Moving Up Day

    Goshen — The Elant Kids child care center recently held its annual Moving Up Day celebration for the 14 members of the Robins group (4- and 5-year-olds) who are graduating and moving on to kindergarten next year. This year’s graduates were: Christina Angelo, Dylan Beresnoy, Aidan Bridges, Darryl Connaughton, Caroline DeClerck, Collins Depuy, Brendan Donovan, Madeline Duran, Nina Gawronski, Cassidy Miller, Nicholas Scala, Lexi Siracusa, Matthew Tyrrell and Caroline VanOrden. All four of the children’s groups that comprise Elant Kids — the Robins, Cubs, Ducklings, and Bunnies — wore colorful costumes put on a performance in which they danced and sang to music such as “Put a Little Love in Your Heart,” “Sing a Song” and “I’m Gonna Catch You.” Afterwards, the Robins donned caps and gowns and went up to the podium one by one to receive their diplomas. Elant Kids child care center provides children with opportunities to be creative, explore their environments and to learn problem solving and personal interaction skills through first hand experiences.
