    Provost’s list The following local residents earned a perfect grade point average of 4.0 during the fall 2010 semester at SUNY Oneonta and have been named to the college’s Provost’s list. Gina Conti of the Village of Florida. Ingrid Korn of Warwick. Of the more than 5,800 undergraduates enrolled at the college, 135 qualified for the fall 2010 Provost’s list by earning a perfect GPA while carrying a course load of at least 12 semester hours. Dean’s list The following local residents are among 1,507 students from SUNY Oneonta who earned Dean’s List honors for the fall 2010 semester: Amanda Adams, a resident of the Village of Florida. Gina Conti, a resident of the Village of Florida. Jeffrey Oettinger, a resident of the Village of Florida. James Boyce Jr., a resident of Warwick. Hannah Colburn, a resident of Warwick. Mariah Grosso, a resident of Warwick. Ingrid Korn, a resident of Warwick. John Kraai, a resident of Warwick. Scott Schleiff, a resident of Warwick. Oleksiy Sukhovarov, a resident of Warwick. To qualify for the dean’s list, undergraduate students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 semester hours or more. Rachel L. Gerbehy of Warwick has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2010 semester at Western New England College in Springfield, Mass. Gerbehy is a junior majoring in communication. Students are named to the dean’s list for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher. Laura Z. Smith of Pine Island was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at Alfred University. She is a senior in the School of Art and Design. A graduate of Warwick Valley High School, Smith is the daughter of Scott and Dorothy Smith of Pine Island. Smith is an art and design major at Alfred University. To qualify for dean’s list, students must earn at least a 3.3 grade point average. Steven T. Curry of Warwick has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at SUNY Oswego. He is a freshman in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Christopher Abrams of Warwick has been named to the dean’s list for the 2010 semester at the University of Miami in Miami, Fla. Eligibility for the dean’s list is determined by a minimum course load of 15 credits and a GPA of at least 3.5. Christopher is an accounting major in the School of Business Administration. Jessiva Troxel of Warwick was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester for Morrisville State College in upstate Morrisville. Awards and honors Megan Connolly of Warwick has been inducted into the UMASS Amherst chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She is majoring in architecture and maintains a 3.895 GPA. Graduations The following residents were among the 278 students who graduated from SUNY Oneonta following the fall 2010 semester. Graduates were honored at a December recognition ceremony hosted by College President Nancy Kleniewski and held in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House: Michael Knapp of Warwick earned a bachelor of science degree in geography. Matthew Peer of Warwick earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology. Terry Numa of the Village of Florida received a MSL degree in library science during commencement ceremonies Dec. 18 at Clarion University in Clarion, Pa.
