Area students honored for academic achievement

    Here are the names of local students who earned spots on their college's dean's lists: • Julia Furey of Monroe has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2005 semester at William Paterson University. She is majoring in Spanish and Education. The following students made the spring 2005 semester dean's list at the University of Delaware. To qualify, full-time students must maintain grade point averages of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester, with no temporary grades as of June 7: • Kelly Ann Moltzen, Harriman. • Jennifer Marie Brown, Highland Mills. • Lindsey Moiria Finch, Highland Mills. • Alissa Anne Della Torre, Monroe. • Keri Ann Doherty, Monroe. • Jason Michael Garcia, Monroe. • Ryan James Lovdahl, Monroe. • Katherine Emily Yatto, Monroe. • Luke D. Sattler of Warwick, a freshman at Hartwick College in Oneonta, has been named to the college's spring term dean's list. To be including on the list, a student must complete a full course load with at least a 3.5 grade point average, based on a 4.0 scale. Sattler, the son of Edward and Deborah Sattler, has participated in men's varsity cross country, men's varsity indoor track and field, men's varsity outdoor track and field and Delta Delta G. • Linita Shannon of Florida, who is majoring in public relations at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2005 semester. To qualify, students must achieve at least a 3.4 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during the semester. Four local residents have been named to the dean's list at Boston University for the spring semester: • Samantha E. Lupinetti of Warwick. • Joanna T.
