Angela Natasi honored on Nurse Appreciation Day

At White Plains Hospital Center’s recent Nurse Recognition Day ceremony, Angela Nastasiof Monroe, second from right, was the recipient of two awards for nursing excellence. She won the Mary Ellen Healy Award given to a bedside nurse who embodies the characteristics of compassion, clinical competence and respect for the patient, co-workers and staff. She was also the first nurse at the hospital to be honored with The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. Shown with Nastasi are, from the left ; Jon B.
