Senator Jen Metzger announces resource fair for veterans and active duty service members on Nov. 12

On Tuesday, Nov. 12, state Senator Jen Metzger (SD-42) will sponsor a free resource fair for active duty service members, veterans and their families from 10 a.m. to noon at the American Legion Post 214 in the Town of Warwick (71 Forester Ave.).

Metzger has partnered with state and local organizations to make resources available and provide assistance to veterans and their families in areas including health care, housing, legal services and more.

The fair is open to active duty service members, veterans of any branch of the U.S. military and their families. Partners include: Legal Services of the Hudson Valley, Joseph P. Dwyer Vet2Vet, and the Middletown VA Clinic.

Attendees are asked to register at bit.ly/Nov12Fair. Walk-ins are also welcome.
