Young soloist winners to play at West Point

WEST POINT-The United States Military Academy Concert Band will be featuring its Young Artists' Solo Competition winners on Sunday, May 8, at 3 p.m. The concert, which will be held in the Eisenhower Hall Ballroom, will showcase the top three finalists from this year's solo competition. Alexandra Shatalov, oboe, from New Paltz High School; Andrew Rooks, violin, from Briarcliff Manor High School; and Kenneth Sickler, tuba, from Kingston High School are this year's winners.
