The West Point Concert Band, under the direction of Lt. Col. Jim Keene, will present a free concert honoring the service of America’s veterans on Sunday, Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. at West Point’s Eisenhower Hall Theatre. The concert program is comprised of patriotic works, with numerous multimedia elements designed to highlight the contributions of the men and women of the U.S. Armed Services. Members of Rolling Thunder will be present at the performance to receive recognition for their efforts to account for all POWs and MIAs of all wars. Also attending the event will be the Patriot Guard Riders. With over 200,000 members, the Patriot Guard Riders attend the funerals of members of the United States Armed Forces at the invitation of the deceased’s family. The second half includes swing pieces of the World War II era. Call 938-2617 for additional information.
