WARWICK-Tina Ross and Andy "Doc" Hirsch performed a Benefit Concert to a packed house at the Seligmann Homestead in Sugar Loaf. Over 80 library supporters turned out for this April 3 fundraiser benefiting the Albert Wisner Library's New Building Fund. Performing in the lovely restored barn Tina sang many original compositions and a few pieces by other artists. She accompanied herself on the guitar, while her husband "Doc" Hirsch played the violin and for some pieces the electric mandolin. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and Ms. Ross remarked that this was like "performing for friends in her living room". The concert raised over $750 and was made possible by the donation from Tina and "Doc" of their time and talent. The concert space was made available by the Orange County Citizen's Foundation. The Albert Wisner Public Library thanks Tina, Doc and the Orange County Citizen Foundation and all the concertgoers for their efforts and support in making this a memorable evening for the Library.
