Three local teachers get state tech awards

A Circleville elementary school teacher and two instructors at Orange-Ulster BOCES were among the recipients of Innovative Educator awards from the Tech Valley Coalition, an organization of 21 chambers of commerce. The award recipients were Donna Schirrman, fifth-grade teacher at Circleville Elementary School, Pine Bush; Michael Dooley, welding instructor, and Jonathan Morey, engineering teacher, at Orange-Ulster BOCES Career & Technical Education Center in Goshen. They will have an opportunity to either travel to a national professional con
