    Warwick — Albert Wisner Public Library will present an American Dream Book Discussion Series, beginning Wednesday, March 2. Made possible by a grant from the New York Council for the Humanities, this series of five book discussions will examine what the American Dream is through a variety of texts. The schedule is as follows: March 2: “The American Dream” by Jim Cullen March 29: “Ragged Dick” by Horatio Alger, Jr. April 19: “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald May 25: “On the Road” by Jack Kerouac June 21: “The Audacity of Hope” by Barack Obama Join with a group of readers and Professor Diane Tomko to understand and express your vision of the American Dream. Tomko is adjunct instructor of literature at Ramapo College and adjunct instructor of English at LaGuardia Community College. All sessions of the series meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Albert Wisner Public Library. Copies of all the books will be available at the library.
