SUNY Orange presents theater workshop on March 16

Middletown — Actress Tannis Kowalchuk will present a theatre workshop — Methods of Original Theatre Creation — in Orange Hall Theatre, SUNY Orange County Community College on Wednesday, March 16, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. The workshop is for actors, directors, writers, singers, spoken word poets and creative people. Kowalchuk has a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Winnipeg. She recently returned from a six-week residency of teaching at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. She is a guest teacher at Humber College and has been a guest artist/teacher at Rutgers University. She is the co-founder and artistic director of North American Cultural Laboratory which makes its home in Highland Lake, in Sullivan County. The workshop is free and open to the public, with no registration required.
