The Newburgh Performing Arts Academy Teen Theatre and Dance Ensembles, under the direction of Paul Kwame Johnson (of Greenwood Forest Farm of the Town of Warwick), will present a celebration of African-American heritage through creative dramatic theatre, dance, and poetry on Sunday, Feb. 27, at 3 p.m. in Orange Hall Theatre, SUNY Orange County Community College. The poet Langston Hughes and the civil rights leader Martin Luther King will be celebrated. Admission is $5 general. Free for all students from any college or school.
