Sugar Loaf to hold fall festival

    Sugar Loaf — The 38th annual Sugar Loaf Fall Festival will be held from Oct. 9 to 11 along Kings Highway in the hamlet. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, Live music will be performed by FullCircle, Cynthia Summers, Little Sparrow, Tin Monk, Blue Shadow Dogs, Tony Riveria Band, E’lissa Jones, Bendy Effect, and Rebel Red. Vendors will sell their wares, to include eclectic clothing, chainsaw carvings, oil painting, jewelry, watercolors, Native American art, woodcarving, candles, soap makers, leather, quilts, furniture, photography, pottery, flowers, and food. There will also be a Farmers Market. This year, Main Street will be closed to traffic from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Designated parking will be available, both free and by donation.
