St. Mary's seeks Thanksgiving basket donations for 62 families

Tuxedo — St. Mary’s-In-Tuxedo Episcopal Church is again providing Thanksgiving dinner baskets to 62 local families. Items needed include: stuffing, gravy, canned vegetables (corn, beans, peas, only), onions, potatoes (white and sweet), cranberry sauce, fruit (apples or oranges), pumpkin pies and holiday candy. Cases of any of the non-perishable items are also accepted. turkeys are not needed as they are being provided by the Food Pantry. All donations are needed no later than Sunday, Nov. 21. Donors can leave items at any time, day or night, in the entry to the Chapel. Volunteers are also needed to help assemble the baskets at St. Mary’s on Monday, Nov. 22 beginning at 9 a.m. Monetary donations are also welcomed as we hope to provide grocery store gift cards to each family.
