Spring Concert is Friday

    MONROE - The Warwick Valley Chorale will be presenting their 63rd Annual Spring Concert on Friday, May 21, at 7 p.m. at the Monroe United Methodist Church, 47 Maple Ave. There will also be a concert on Sunday, May 23, at 7 p.m. at the Warwick Reformed Church, Rt. 94, Warwick. Directed by Stanley Curtis and accompanied by Gail Johnson, the 70-plus voice choir has worked since January to prepare for this event. Selections will include "Te Deum" by George Friedrich Handel, Joseph Haydn & R. Vaughan Williams, along with an array of American folk songs and a final Broadway Spectacular. A good will offering will be taken. Refreshments will be offered in the Fellowship Hall following the concert. All are invited for this opportunity to hear so many talented voices in a hall with such great acoustics.
