Safe Harbors. Black Renaissance Festival seeking artists, musicians, dancers, writers

Safe Harbors of the Hudson, in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, presents the Black Renaissance Festival – A Talent Showcase Amplifying and Celebrating Black Voices of Newburgh.

Submissions from the community’s Black artists are due by tomorrow, Aug. 8, when there will be an open live audition from noon-4 p.m. at Safe Harbors lobby at the Ritz, 107 Broadway, Newburgh.

Following CDC requirements, masks must be worn and you must follow social distancing rules. Mask may be removed during audition. Include your full name, phone number and title of your work in the file https://tinyurl.com/y8ofd9cf

The festival performance date will be announced at a future time. Safe Harbors works for equitable access to housing and the arts and strives to present inclusive, relevant and reflective programming in the City of Newburgh.
