Richard Kimball and Rick Savage perform 'Music For Humanity" concert on Oct. 28

WARWICK — On Sunday, Oct. 28, pianist/composer Richard Kimball and trumpet player/educator Rick Savage will perform a fund-raising concert at The Warwick Reformed Church, 16 Maple Ave. Warwick.
The show begins at 4 p.m.
The performance will specialize in their own interpretations of some wonderful but not well-known-in-the-US Brazilian composers Kimball has worked with.
In addition, there will be original works by Kimball and icons of the U.S. jazz repertoire, Herbie Hancock and John Coltrane.
The music just about “covers the spectrum” for well-rounded listeners, and it has a variety of rhythms and forms not always heard here.
Kimball, a Steinway Artist, will be playing on his own Hamburg Steinway concert grand which will be moved there for this one event.
The show is a fund raiser for “Music for Humanity”, a local (501c3) charity that sponsors young musicians with scholarships to continue their training.
Suggested donation is $20.
