Program on managing the Hudson estuary

    Cornwall-on-Hudson-Frances F. Dunwell, who manages the Hudson River Estuary Program for New York State, will speak at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at Painter's Tavern, located on Hudson St. in Cornwall-on-Hudson. His presentation is titled "Managing the Hudson River Estuary: How the Hudson River Painters, Revolutionary War and Storm King Power Plant Case All Led to How We Do Things Today to Protect the Hudson." Dunwell is also the author of The Hudson River Highlands. The program is part of the Museum of the Hudson Highlands' Evening Speakers Series, funded in part by The New York Council for the Humanities. General admission $5. Reservations are not required.
