'Pippi Longstocking' at Lycian Centre Feb. 27

    Sugar Loaf — A performance of “Pippi Longstocking” will take place at the Lycian Centre for the Performing Arts on Sunday, Feb. 27 for two performances at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Astrid Lindgren’s headstrong heroine and her mischievous monkey have delighted young readers for three generations. This production chronicles Pippi’s adventures with thieves at a carnival and features fast-paced action and an original score just for kids. Pippi Longstocking has encouraged generations of girls to have fun and to believe in themselves. Tickets for the show are $16.50 or $15 for adults and $12 for youth (18 years old and younger).
