‘People of the Bible' exhibit at Vision Community Church in October

Throughout October, Vision Community Church in Warwick will feature an exhibit called “People of the Bible,” by Joyce Ellen Weinstein, a New York area contemporary artist whose art is exhibited in museums world wide. Weinstein’s work features personal interpretations of biblical figures created with a print making technique called linoleum block printing. With this technique, a design is cut into a sheet of linoleum to create a raised or relief surface, and is then inked and pressed into the surface of the paper. The exhibit can be seen every Sunday in October before and after the 10 a.m. service, or anytime during the week with advanced notice.
