Orange County Executive Ed Diana admires this Christmas tree decorated with more than 500 hand-crafted origami ornaments, located on the third floor landing in the County Government Center in Goshen. The theme of this year’s tree is discovery and features colorful, hand-crafted paper books, telescopes, space rockets, mythical creatures, and animals. The ornaments were created and donated by the Orange County Origami Club, led by instructor Kay Eng. The club, which is sponsored by the County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation, has been making ornaments for the county tree for nearly 25 years.
