After Thanksgiving bring the entire family to the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum for a special celebration of the museum’s live animals. The museum’s Wildlife Education Center, at 25 Boulevard, Cornwall-on-Hudson, will be open from noon until 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 26 through Nov. 28. Each day there will be two holiday “Meet the Animals” programs at 1 and 2:30 p.m. There will also be special crafts for children. During this weekend, the museum will also be seeking Animal Sponsors to help care for the owls, snakes, turtles, opossum, crow and other animals that live at the museum and cannot be released into the wild for a variety of reasons, including injury. Museum admission is $3 per person. Members and children under 3 are free. For more information call 534-5506, ext. 204. Photo by George Potanovic
