MW Garden Club hosts seminar on fall container gardening on Oct. 9

MONROE — The Monroe Woodbury Garden Club will host a seminar on fall container gardening on Tuesday, Oct. 9, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Monroe Senior Center, 101 Mine Road in the Town of Monroe.
The guest speaker will be Brooke Moore, Senior Master Gardener with the Cornell Cooperative Extension.
"Through her passion for gardening all of her life, Ms. Moore will demonstrate various fall arrangements from basic concepts to 'eye-popping,' including what to consider such as foliage, color, texture and frost hardy," the club said in announcing the program.
The seminar is open to the public.
