Music. West Point Band kicks off season with Summer Concerts Series

The West Point Band’s annual Summer Concert Series will feature unforgettable evenings of world-class music performances across the military academy and the Hudson Valley while their traditional venue at Trophy Point is under construction. The events are free and open to the public.

· Army Birthday Celebration on Saturday, June 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Eisenhower Hall Theatre, 655 Pitcher Road - Join the Army’s oldest band in celebration of the U.S. Army’s 248th Birthday on the iconic grounds where its story began, featuring patriotic music.

· West Point Block Party on Saturday, June 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the Cadet Fine Arts Forum House, 51 Cullum Road, West Point. Get ready to dance and sing along with the West Point Band as they kick off the summer with their own A-list playlist, featuring classic rock and pop favorites to old school hip-hop and R&B.

· Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, July 1 at 7:00 p.m. at Trophy Point Amphitheatre, 117-119 Washington Road, West Point - Grab a blanket, bring a picnic and enjoy a wide variety of music ranging from traditional field music to today’s popular hits and everything in between. Performed by world-class Soldier-Musicians, the performance concludes with a fireworks display over the Hudson River. The inclement date is Sunday, July 2.
