Music to shop local by at Monroe Free Library

MONROE — Monroe-Woodbury music students and their percussion teacher Andres Vahos will be jazzing up Monroe Free Library’s Holiday Boutique on Saturday, Dec. 9.
The student soloists are Yvon Massillon, William Nicoll, James Nicoll, Kathryn Nicoll, Ryan Kiesel and Joshua LeViseur. Accompanied by piano, the 8- to 18-year-old musicians will perform holiday favorites, including "Home for the Holidays," "Christmas Time Is Here," "The Little Drummer Boy" and some light jazz. The young musicians play from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The Boutique offers something for everyone and a great way to shop local and support the library. Homemade baked goods, all genres of books for sale in gift-able condition and some knick-knacks will be for sale. The Boutique will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
