Cornwall - The Hudson Highland Nature Museum’s award winning Maple Sugar Tours are offered Saturdays and Sundays through March 27. Tours start every half-hour and run from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The tour includes a 45-minute outdoor walk for up to 20 visitors guided by the museum staff. Visitors learn the history of maple sugaring, how to tap a tree, how to collect sap, and how the sap boils down in an evaporator to become maple syrup. Tours end at the museum’s farmhouse for the syrup taste challenge. Visitors are asked to dress warmly and wear boots for snow and mud. Admission: $10/adults, $5/children ages three to 11.
