‘Jazz is our American music’
Hudson Valley. The Hudson Valley Jazz Festival reworked its programming in these times of COVID-19 to bring music to the people for the 11th year in a row.

As Americans navigate their way through months of a global health crisis and our national economic condition, music still happened. Jazz happened.
This past Aug 13-16, The Hudson Valley Jazz Festival, in it’s 11th season, re-worked it’s programming to provide an opportunity for some of the region’s artists to be heard.
From partnering with the reknown Falcon in Marlboro, to coordinating with Music For Humanity, The Pine Island Chamber of Commerce and Palaia Winery in Highland Mills, there were several performances and a safe number of attendees.
To round out the schedule, musicians gigged in backyards and streamed performances in Warwick and Newburgh.
Everything outside, safely designed.
The festival would like to thank the musicians, its principle sponsor BMW, donations from the public and the Arts Council of Orange County for making it possible.
