‘Holiday Tree Fantasy' added to house tour

GOSHEN-The "Holiday Tree Fantasy," a silent auction featuring live and artificial tabletop trees created by local florists, landscapers, and friends will be held in conjunction with a planned tour of local houses. The trees may be viewed at Dana Distributors from 2 to 7 p.m. on the day of the "Homes for the Holiday" tour, set for this Sunday, Dec. 5. Sponsors include Chester Greenery and Gifts, Floral Cottage, Hudson Valley Nursery and Garden Center, James Murray Florist, Goshen Florist, Angels Among Us, Horton Auxliliary and Twig members and friends. The Chester and Goshen Twigs of the Arden Hill Auxiliary are presenting the "Homes for the Holiday" self-guided tour of eight local houses decorated for the holidays. The tour will feature two houses in Chester and six in Goshen, and begins with a 2 p.m. reception catered by Holbert's Catering at Dana Distributors on Hatfield Lane in Goshen. Tickets to the tour are $30 each (no children under 14 please). Reservations are limited. All proceeds will benefit the Orange Regional Medical Center.
