Goshen — The Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame will hold its annual holiday concert on Thursday, Dec. 8, starting with a warm welcome from the Yuletide Carolers. Wearing authentic Victorian attire, they will greet concert-goers at the museum entrance from 7 to 7:25 p.m. Goshen High School’s Varsity Choir and Jazz Voices Ensemble will return to sing the best-loved carols of the season. They will then join the Varsity Choir and the Jazz Voices in the Haughton Hall at 7:30 p.m. The Yuletide Carolers will lead the audience in the concert’s annual version of “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” Museum member Edie Haughney, financial advisor in the Pearl River Office of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, will complement the evening’s entertainment with a holiday dessert table. The museum's holiday tree will be filled with "horsey ornaments." Visitors are welcome to tour the museum's festively decorated halls and stalls, and its new exhibits. Admission is $3, and is waived for museum members. Non-members who bring a new unwrapped toy for the Marines’ “Toys for Tots” program receive a $1 admission discount. Toys may be dropped off until Friday, Dec. 16, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. The Winner’s Circle Gift Shop will be open and will offer a 10 percent discount. Concert sponsors are Edie Haughney and Frontier Communications. Seating is limited and reservations are recommended. Call Joanne Young at 294-6330. The museum is located at 240 Main St. in Goshen.
