Historical society opens museum for 2011 season

The Chester Historical Society is planning to open the 1915 Erie Depot Museum for the 2011 season. The museum, located at 19 Winkler Place, in Chester, will open on Saturday, May 7 and be open Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. until Oct. 29 and by appointment. The 2011 exhibit, “Bygone Hats,” will feature vintage hats, stitchery, clothing and hankies.
