Historians offer their local insights to Warwick Valley High School students

WARWICK-Dr. Richard Hull and Dr. Kenneth Hamburger spoke to social studies students at Warwick Valley High School on Tuesday, May 24. Hull, a professor of history at New York University, spoke on the topic, "Growing Up in Africa Today," and Hamburger spoke about Warwick in the Revolutionary War. Each talk was followed with a Q&A session and the program included a reception for students and guests. The program was arranged through the History Club at the high school, which is affiliated with the Historical Society of the Town of Warwick. This is the second in a two-part series of talks organized by the society this school year. Last fall, Michael Bertolini, curator of the Society's historical buildings, spoke with the students about growing up in 18th century Warwick.
