The following is a list upcoming programs at the Woodbury Public Library:

“Happy Harvest Sign Painting” craft workshop

Thursday, Sept. 9, 6:30 p.m., Woodbury Senior Center

Harvest time usually means lots of cardio work in the great outdoors. We’re going with a less strenuous approach to brighten your home and welcome the Fall. Create a hand-painted sign on reclaimed wood with Beth Verblaauw for yourself or as a gift. All materials will be provided. Limit 15 Adult patrons. Pre-registration required (wait-list registration will be available).

‘Alexander Hamilton: The Musical & the Duel’

Family History/Performing Arts event on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2 p.m., Woodbury Senior Center

The world was taken by storm when Hamilton hit the scene in theaters. The show reopens on Broadway in September ... and tickets remain hard to procure. If you can’t make it to NYC, join us for this special presentation by Rick Feingold, which will include both back-story on the characters and videotaped musical performance footage. Ages 8+ welcome. Face-coverings are required for this indoor event; please pre-register to help us arrange enough seating.

‘Shed Your Stress with Zentangle’ Art/Craft workshop

Wednesday, Sept. 22, 6:30 p.m., Woodbury Senior Center

Give yourself a chance to take a break. Jennifer Wilken will lead us in a session of this drawing technique designed to relax the mind and nourish the spirit. All materials will be provided and no prior artistic experience is needed. Pre-registration required; class maximum is 20 adult/teen attendees.
