Help Jack Williams as he battles cancer

Greenwood Lake — “A Day for Jack” fund raiser will be held Saturday, Sept. 18 from 12 noon to 6 p.m. at the Greenwood Lake American Legion hall on Mountain Lakes Lane. This event will benefit Jack Williams, a 13-year-old Greenwood Lake resident who is diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer. He has had chemotherapy treatments for months, along with several surgeries and many severe complications. According to event coordinator Susan Selser, “Jack is a strong minded young man fighting to live the life that any child should have a chance to. He has given us so much hope and urges everyone to enjoy life to its fullest.” Donations can also be sent to Chase Bank, P.O. Box 95, Greenwood Lake, N.Y. 10925.
