The Orange County Arts Council’s annual Members Exhibition and Sale returns virtually from Monday, March 8, through Friday, March 26, providing local artists a venue to showcase their talent while offering their works for sale to the public.

The theme of this exhibit is “Reflection.” Submissions for artwork will be accepted now through Saturday, Feb. 27.

Artists will be notified during the first week of March if their pieces have been accepted for the exhibition and sale.

Submissions may include a wide array of art including, but not limited to paintings, printmaking, photography, sculptural works and drawing.

There is no entry fee for members to submit to this art show and sale. OCAC will charge 30 percent commission, with a 70 percent commission to artists.

“Reflection gives the brain an opportunity to pause amidst the chaos, untangle and sort through observations and experiences, consider multiple possible interpretations and create meaning,” said Sarah McKay, OCAC’s executive director. “At its simplest, reflection is about careful thought. We encourage new works to be created with this theme in mind. It’s open to wide interpretation, and submissions may be as abstract or realistic as the artists see fit.”

Online sales will go live on Monday, March 8, on OCAC’s website and closes Friday, March 26, at midnight. Buyers will purchase directly from the site.

Patron pickup dates and times will be Saturday, April 3, and Sunday, April 4, from 2 to 5 p.m. each day, at CoLab, 45 St. John St., in Goshen.
